It was all those chocolate croissants that nearly did me in ... I really miss those, actually ... and Gini, I rather like Gini.

well, i don't know how well the chocolate croissants would travel but maybe i could mail you some...
or maybe you'll just have to come back. (but, gini, didn't you say it's exactly like some other drink you have at home ?) |

Nope, I think you're remembering the Mr. Pibb/Dr. Pepper controversy, or maybe that the Coca Cola there seems to be just like the Coca Cola here.
I can get Orangina easily enough, but the only place I've found Gini is at a specialty liquor and exotic beverage store in downtown Houston (Spec's for those who know it). |

well maybe i could add a few cans of gini, but they would probably crush the croissants... yep, i think you have no choice : you'll have to come back again.

Not this year ... maybe when the kids (that we don't have yet) are about 12 years old.

So can anyone start an "official" thread? I thought only moderators could do that.
BTW: I still love my PRS-500 and my Kindle. BOb |

Anyone can type "Official" in the title ... I don't recall off-hand any instance where a moderator did so, however -- I think all the "Official" threads were started by non-mods.

I only wish these readers came out 10 years earlier.
I had an 500 first, but switched it to a 505. I read it almost every day. Or rather, I read the books on it. |

Just got my reader a couple of months ago when I went to the states. Absolutely loving it!!
It'll save me quite a lot in the long run - considering the nose-bleed prices NZ booksellers charge for books over here. Not to mention piss-poor selection they offer, especially in Sci-Fi/Fantasy booksonboard, fictionwise and MS LIT have been my friends. Last edited by sherman; 09-23-2008 at 07:09 AM. |

Still - never mind - I hadn't read the article about the October announcement before I bought it - so now I can wait to see if there is a new, enhanced model coming out and leave her with the OLD version Martin |
