Moving books from KOBO to Caliber library

Does Caliber have the ability to move books off of your device and store them in the Caliber library? If so how is this done?

Wit the device attached: you will see some new icons appear next to the Library icon.
When the 'device (just) attached task finishes, there will be tick marks next to the books that are on both the device AND in the library. Simply click the 'In Library' header and they will group on the status. Select the books without ticks: right-click: Add to Library

Well I tried these instructions and although they do work in the sense the book is transfered to the Caliber library, no metadata is carried with it. There is no format transfered over either. I tried the drag and drop method with the same results. Does anybody have any tips on getting the library off of the kobo and into the Caliber library?

I should have added in the last post that this problem is for the preloaded kobo books.

you can always get proper copies or find more titles on the gutenberg site (apologies if I mis-spelled that).
