Aldiko bug?(Help plz)

Hello everyone.

Recently I've upgrade my GT-P1000 to Gingerbread 2.3.3 (Overcome 3.0.0 - ICARUS) and since then I have a MAJOR problem with Aldiko reader (although I really doubt that the problem is connected) .
More exactly I get quadruple entries of my books (but not all of them) in shelf view (only in shelf view) but it seems that the default books with which Aldiko comes (and a few others) do not multiply.

SO .. did anyone else stumble on this problem? Does anyone have any ideas on what should I do to fix this little problem?

The same thing happens even after I reinstall the application and even after I clean the books folder and re import all of them in Aldiko.

I really don't want to change Aldiko with anything else ...I love this application, that and the fact that 90% of the usage of my tablet is for reading ebooks.

in advance.

Had the same problem myself. I don't know but it might have something to do with the fact that when Aldiko imports your own books it also copies them to its own folder, giving you twice the books and used space you started with.

As far as I can remember, I solved it by clearing all books out of Aldiko, deleting my own folder and then using just the folder that Aldiko insists on using to import from. It worked for me, your situation might be different though.

Cheers.

It's true that I keep all my books in a general folder somewhere on my SD card but i didn't though it can cause any problems.

Atm I kind of fixed the problem by switching to Mantano ... and I don't think I'll be switching back to Aldiko anytime soon.
