Sounds like a bug to me. I highly recommend switching to KoReader

It's definitely a bug, same thing happens on my device.

Well for me this (U700.6.8.1957) is ... buggy.
1. stopped working send-to-pocketbook service
2. stopped working https://... links in browser.

I contacted support, they asked me for 'factory reset' - done, no help
then "format internal memory" - done, no help
they send me previous firmware ... but I cannot install it.
I put SWUPDATE.BIN file in root directory, tried to start with previous/next buttons but reader does nothing.

You have to plug in the Power Cable while holding the buttons, then it should start the up(down)date.

And the device have to be powered off before.

Hi I just bought a Pocketbook era. In general I like it but I have exactly this same bug. The setting for page display keeps turning off. Is there a forum with the pocketbook developers, where they share their progress on such things?
