Ordentliches epub-Wörterbuch englisch->deutsch
Ich wollte fragen, ob jemand von euch ein ordentliches epub-Wörterbuch englisch->deutsch kennt, für den PRS-505 also nichts look-up-Funktion. Mir geht's auch eher um ein praktisches Wörterbuch zum lesen eines p-back Buches. Wichtig wäre mir, dass es gut sortiert ist, deswegen in epub, da ich denke, dass es am Einfachsten mit einem dreistufigen Inhaltsverzeichnis wäre.
Erste Stufe -> Erster Buchstabe A-Z
Zweite Stufe -> Zweiter Buchstabe A-Z
Dritte Stufe -> Dritter Buchstabe A-Z

Weiß jemand Rat?

Leo ist ein Unternehmen, und stellt seine Datenbank nicht öffentlich zur Verfügung, wie z.B. wikipedia.
Anders bei FreeDict - komplett frei zugängliche Datenbank mit zweisprachigen Wörterbüchern in einigen Formaten.

Auf der Pinguinburg findet sich neben einer in Mobi-Format formatierten Wikipedia zum Offline benutzen auch eine Mobi-Version des freedict-Wörterbuches (DE<->EN & DE<->FR).

Leider funktioniert der Wörterbuch-Lookup (Mobi) sowieso nicht, aber zum Nachschlagen sehr praktisch. Aber eher zur Verwendung am Smartphone geeignet, wegen Texteingabe.

Also mit deinem LInk konnte ich nicht viel anfangen, hab nur einen Hinweis auf freedict auf der Seite gefunden, vlt. war ich zu ungeduldig mit dem Lesen. Aber du hast mich auf die Idee gebracht auf ein Übersetzungstool fürs Handy zu suchen, woran ich aus irgendeinem Grund nicht gedacht habe, dabei habe ich ein Symbian Handy mit qwertz Tastatur, also gut zum Suchen geeignet. Habe ein paar teure gefunden (40-50€) aber für Interessierte, hier auch ein paar kostenlose in alle möglichen und unmöglichen Sprachen (schonmal Tagalog gesprochen?)
Ist wahrscheinlich auch angenehmer, das Handy als Wörterbuch mitzunehmen, als den Reader, außerdem kann man damit auch sicher recht gut englische Bücher auf Readern ohne Look-up Funktion lesen, Handy ist ja klein und hat man meist dabei.

Auf der Seite steht unter Download ein Link auf einen FTP-Server, und dort wie in angehängtem Bild zu finden.

Tut mir leid, dass ich keinen Direktlink machen kann, aber sowas ist nunmal unanständig. Gerade wenn Leute etwas sowieso kostenlos zur Verfügung stellen.

Natürlich, da bin ich auch deiner Meinung, genauso wie selbst hochladen nicht sein muss, was ich in anderen Foren ab und zu sehen muss. Hab's wohl einfach übersehen, danke.

Kein Ding, ist auch auf Anhieb wirklich nicht leicht zu finden. Ich bin auch nur sozusagen 'drübergestolpert', als ich die Wiki für mein Mobile gesucht hab...

Nun stört mich nur noch, dass mein Handy grademal 2GB-Karten liest. Immerhin hat die Wiki schon 1,5 :/

Grade jetzt, wo ich durch h4xx0rei mein N73 auf Music Edition upgedatet hab? Grade jetzt, wo es endlich BlueTooth-Stereo-Streaming drauf hat? Wozu hab ich dann die sündteuren BT-Kopfhörer?
Ernsthaft, das Handy ist schwer in Ordnung. Doch du hast recht, es wird Zeit. Aber nicht für ein neues Handy, sondern für einen neuen Tarif, bzw. neuen Betreiber. Wenn die mobil-Internettarife etwas (etwas viel) kulanter wären, könnte ich mir die Offline-wiki sparen.

Zu den Wörterbüchern, wer ein Iphone hat, für die gibt es ein dict.cc App mit den 777.000 Wörterpaaren, für die andere Handy ist es jedoch auch möglich einen großen Teil der dict.cc Datenbank abfragen zu können, aber nur wenn sie java-fähig sind, siehe hier den Post von Andre_
