Has Nookdev given up on the old Nook?

I see that they are now listing on their site instructions for rooting the Nook color. Unfortunately, there is still nothing at all concerning the original Nook and the 1.5 root.

Any ideas if they will ever support it or deal with the bugs?

There is a root for 1.5. There are two actually, 2.5.0 and 2.5.1 but for some reason they aren't updating their site with them. If you go to the original 1.5 update is here! thread, you will find the roots posted in there.

Edit to add; Here is the thread.

I have found all the threads here; I am wondering if nookdev will ever have any updates on their site.

Thanks for the link to your page. I have seen it before, only because of postings here. It is not for older Nooks with the socketed chip so it doesn't apply to most of us.

I would very much appreciate it is you would show me how to get to your page from the main page, http://nookdevs.com/Main_Page.

One of their biggest problems is that they seem to have a lot of hidden information.

Thanks

You're just the person I needed to talk to in reference to this!

It looks like that page only applies to nooks that were preloaded with firmwares 1.4.1, 1.4.2 or 1.4.3. The new nook I got was preloaded with 1.5, do you know if this will still work?

That is quite a long time for nookdev to ignore an update. I recall 1.5 was end of November.

I see that they have finally started to make the 1.5 stuff less confusing although they still don't quite make it clears for older Nooks.

Thanks
