Okay, I dug into this a bit. At least at Fictionwise, you can upload personal content to your bookshelf so that you can access it from the eReader app on your iPhone/iTouch:

Understand, it would probably be...unwise...to upload any pirated or DRM-stripped content, though!

Yes, I use Personal Contet site for ereader. I have uploaded my home-made dictionary. But can I use it in B&N ereader?

Admittedly, I haven't tried it. I have such a large selection of Gutenberg texts that I just opted to use Stanza instead. It's too much trouble uploading all of this to another website.
