Screensaver suddenly went missing

I've been using Koreader on a jailbroken PW4 for a couple of weeks. In the beginning, the screensaver option was there right before "rotation" in the screen settings and I could use custom screensaver.

However it has vanished suddenly and when I go to sleep mode, kindle adv. are shown instead.

What can I do to fix this?

Ask Amazon support to turn off ads (Special Offers) on your device (they may require 20 bucks).

But isn't that for official kindle farmware? Why am I seeing this in Koreader? And in the beginning it wasn't so?

You are seeing it because stock firmware overrides everything else. You were not seeing this because Amazon uses delay to push offers content. Maybe due to long queue in servers or to learn user behavior before selecting targeting ads.
