Assuming you have a book in another format, you should be able to print it from the program that opens it. Either Word for DOCX or calibre for anything else. Then just print it out, using a PDF printer driver.

Very true. I use CutePDF and like it, but I wish MS Windows would get with the times and integrate a PDF printer driver into the OS. Instead they have an XPS printer driver, which is not nearly as useful.
