iSilo/X V4.2 Beta 1 - finally with RSS support!

Great news for all of us iSilo fans: Darren released iSilo and iSiloX V4.2 Beta today!

New highlights of the reader iSilo:
- Added image map support.
- Beta of iSilo on the Symbian UIQ platform, to lead to the first release of iSilo on that platform.
- Addressing of miscellaneous issues.
Detailed list of changes.

That was about time... Plucker and Sunrise also offer a RSS-to-mobile feature, which is the way to go nowadays!

Is there a way to have rss feeds default to printer friendly links instead of the full graphic web page links? Montalvo's version of Reuters seems to do this. The printer friendly pages save a lot of scrolling on iSilo.

With iSilo/X, there is currently is no way to rewrite links on-the-fly.

Another product, Sunrise supports a link rewriting feature through scripting (SDL). If you install Sunrise, you can read more about scripting under "Help Contents" from within Sunrise. There are also several example SDLs in the distribution that use link rewriting, including NY Times and Brighthand.
