Amazon AU, Kobo AU and Google AU all have the uncut version. Maybe you need to go for a virtual vacation.

It seems that Kobo has a second ebook, published in 2014, which says it is the uncut version. Not couponable though.. http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebo...strange-land-2 Edit: this might become another topic, but not in this thread ? Last edited by brudigia; 08-03-2014 at 02:46 AM. EDIT: I picked up the preview, and the 2014 printing (ISBN 9781444710236) is the uncut version. The copyright data checks out, and it has the explanatory Preface. Just to be completely sure, I checked the first chapter for a known change, and the text matches the uncut text. So, yay! Last edited by Rev. Bob; 08-03-2014 at 03:05 AM. Reason: Moar data! |

I noticed that Some Girls Bite, the first book in Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampires series is on sale for $1.99. This offer appears to be for US customers only since I can't find equivalent prices at Kobo or Amazon UK.

SyFy signal has their 3.99 or less list up!
http://www.sfsignal.com/archives/201...es-under-3-99/ Some good picks IMO. A few that jumped out at me: Interview with a Vampire - Anne Rice Way of Kings - Brandon Sanderson Ready Player One - Ernest Cline 5 Volumes of Sin City (looks really good on a eink reader) A bunch of Ian Douglas space opera books. The Blade Itself - Joe Abercrombie Terms of Enlistment - Marko Kloos Total Recall - Philip K Dick The Green Mile - Stephen King Some good stuff in this list! |

The Book of Cthulhu, a collection of short stories edited by Ross E. Lockhart, has dropped in price to US $1.99 on [Affiliate tag link deleted - MODERATOR] and $2.17 on Amazon.ca (I hope my links work).

Not to pick on you, but since several people seem to lack confidence in this area, here's a foolproof way to make an Amazon link to any product. This is what I use any time I need an Amazon link on the website I maintain.
First, start with the site itself: http://www.amazon.com/ (If you're using .ca or .co.uk or another variant, use that.) Next, add "dp/" - it stands for "detail page": http://www.amazon.com/dp/ Finally, look on the product page (or in the long URL) for the ASIN, which for ebooks should be a 10-character code starting with a B and containing numbers and capital letters. For The Book of Cthulhu, that's B006QO1A1M. Combine everything, and you get a concise link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006QO1A1M And that's all you need to do! |

Thanks for the information Rev. Bob. I know when I click on .com links that I don't see the same page that shows up for viewers from the US (I get "pricing information not available" for example) and I never knew about the ASIN method. Will definitely use it in future.
