Are medical journal articles in PDF format readable in ILIAD BE?

Hi. I'm a medical doctor and I'm particularly interested in the Iliad BE due to its big screen size and ability to show PDF formatted ebooks. I have some questions though:

1. Is the Iliad capable of showing medical journal articles in PDF format adequately?
2. Can it show the tables and graphs clearly?

Complex PDFs with graphs, tables, etc, are eminently well displayed by the iLiad. You can zoom in to see details if they are unclear on the full page display.

For screenshots, see Photos from medical journals. These are actual copies of the Iliad's screen bitmap, so they are 768x1024. You may have to click on the image in your web browser to get the original size. Note these will likely be significantly larger on your PC's screen than on the iLiad (because typical computer monitors have fewer pixels per inch than the iLiad). As HarryT says, you can zoom if necessary and there is also a "landscape" mode which displays a partial page as illustrated by the 3rd and 4th screenshots.

Thanks for the responses... That was quick.. Another question: For 2-columned PDF articles, can the Iliad show this by reflowing (not zoomed in) as 1 column?

No, it doesn't support PDF reflow. Reflow rarely works well for anything more complex than straight text. Graphs, tables, etc, don't generally respond well to it.

The column mode ipdf works perfectly to read scientific papers. You zoom to the beginning of a column and from there the "next-page" bar moves advancing through the columns nicely. Although in fact is a kind of zoom mode.
