Just boot with Serial & KUAL Doesnt appear
Hey guys,
My Kindle is on firmware 5.12.1 and I did the jailbreak according to this guide: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=267541 Now I have 2 problems. The Kindle only starts when I have connected the serial cable to the laptop. Otherwise it gets stuck in the boot screen. My second problem is that I can't get KUAL installed. I dragged KUAL-KDK-2.0.azw2 into the document directory but it is not displayed. I tried to install Update_KUALBooklet_hotfix_v2.7.23_install without success (update error). I think the jaibreak worked because the jailbreak message came on the bottom. I would be really grateful for help!

Install Update_KUALBooklet_*_install.bin via mrpi.
Otherwise, upgrade to 5.12.2 or upper and install Update_KUALBooklet_hotfix_*_install.bin as update. |

Have you tried to boot without serial cable but with a wall charger connected?
Is the battery OK? |

Battery is ok.
I tried Wall charger in the Micro USB and doesnt work. But with the serial cable in Wall charger it works
