Displaying the number of the next page.
Why are the little page numbers displayed on the right s145
of the page? It obscures words that I want to read. Pl254 include an option to turn this off in the next firmware upgr178 I can add 1 to the page number displayed in the bottom mar544 and thereby calculate the number of the page I'm about to t437 to. It is fuc1102 annoy873. I'm baffled by the thought process of designers and usability staff who thought this would be a good idea. |

Thanks Stinger for finding those. I realized early on that with different size displays and different size fonts, total page numbers (in terms of how often you turn the page) are pretty fluid. The little annoying numbers give you something less changeable to go by.

Aside personal preference, there are things more important and some of
lesser importance. This margin placed page numbers are not on my to-do list. Someone might find it disturbing. I simply dislike few things more: like proverbs during book load. Like battery indicator inability to show correct capacity. Pdf outlook is high on the list of almost all posters. Book cover during power off? Nothing especial. Takes attention for 3 days. I also have trust that power up is fast enough. I don't care about negative page for a second. Most problems user could solve with customized css file. The question is: is it worth the trouble? I have some badly formatted and build books, but they will be read and gone. And - yes. The number on the right margin is a pleonasm. |

Ahh, fair enough, will have to live with it for now, and should direct my anger towards Adobe, not my Kobo reader.
Thanks, Stinger, |
