Device: Iriver Story HD
Comicbook utility for free

Hello everybody.

I read comicbooks on my ebook reader (Iriver story HD). Not PDF files but CBZ archives.

Out there you can find huge collections of CBR comics (Directories of images, compressed with RAR).
The problem is Iriver Story HD only read Zip Files.

I coded a small script (for linux) to repack, and optionally convert the images:
resolution: 768x1024
colors: 16
grayscale

This permiting a more enjoyable experience (is faster, and less memory consuming).

clearly this is configurable for other devices as well.

You can read more here: http://unbicchieremezzopieno.blogspo...ve-to-cbz.html

I'm planning for extensions so if you have any ideas, just tell me.

I hope you can find it useful.

Enjoy!

Ruggero
