"How do I get KOHighlights to work?"

Hello, pls help

I am trying to export notes from koreader to plain text ou markdown, so I tryed to use KOHighlights

However, when I ran the app this message apears

"FATAL ERROR DETECTED

fail to execute scipt main"

This seems like a problematic installation.
Can you close your antivirus program while installing?
Are you using the latest version?
Can you download an earlier version from here to try?
What operating system you are using?

Yes, I did close but it still does not work
yes, I am using 1.6
I use windows 10 64x

Did you re-install the 1.6?
Did you tried to install the 1.5 version?
I'm running the 1.6 on Win10x64 just fine, so it must be something on your configuration.
I do believe the error has to do with some missing files though..

Maybe not installing it in the Program Files folder helps?
Keep in mind that Windows security IS an antivirus and you should try to stop it before testing a new installation.
I'm out of ideas, sorry..

I found a way (or sort oof it)

I tryed to run it on a second user from windows, and it worked

Chances are the program doesn’t like exotic symbols in the user name path?

I don't think that some strange characters can stop the app from launching, since it should be located inside the "Programs Files"path.
The most probable cause for this error is some missing files, and a bad antivirus is the usual culprit..
