Apple Jumping on the Phablet Bandwagon
Those 3.5" screens of the original iPhone seem teeny tiny by today's standards, but now the Apple faithful may be able to have their phablets too. Apple is currently developing phablet-sized iPhones, possibly for a Fall 2014 release.
It was just a matter of time. You can't ignore such a market trend forever. While some have tried to portray phablets as a passing niche trend, they are here to stay. Quote:

Still hating the word 'phablet.' It offends me visually and aurally. I'm usually not one to condone human-on-text violence, but I hope it get's drunk, chokes on its own vomit and dies soon.
The type of device the word is intended to describe, however, I have no real opinions on. |

What? You're not familiar with the colloquial contraction of the phrase "gets its ass"? Hence: "get's drunk."

What's the point of having the screen curving away from you? Graham Last edited by Graham; 11-11-2013 at 04:44 PM. Reason: spelling, and adding another reason. |

Which way do Samsung's screens curve?
Edit: found it. They curve inward: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-24455312 That does make more sense to me. Though I'd still prefer a flat screen. Graham Last edited by Graham; 11-11-2013 at 04:57 PM. |

It won't be curved on the front, the back yes though.

Apple is one of those companies who are always working on something or a thousand somethings and people jump to conclusions about what they are actually working on releasing. Do we actually have any real confirmation beyond that they are experimenting with these types of things?
How long have people been saying they are going to release a TV? |
