Book Browser Prototype
Interesting study by a dude from the Hitachi Human Interaction Laboratory. He worked on a user interface that does not change people's natural, traditional behavior, like turning over the pages, and yet allows for accessing a rich variety of electronic content. According to the abstract of his paper:

Very interesting concept, but I can't help thinking that actual execution would get excessively complicated in a hurry.

I respectfully submit that "turning over pages" is no more or less "natural" to humans than pressing a button. What's the big deal?
