Installing eBook Library 2.5 FAQ
Hi folks, I just got my new PRS700, it is now charging. While I'm waiting for that little red light to go out maybe someone can answer a few questions.
We already have a PRS505 and the existing eBook Library version 2.2.00.18100. Our computer and PRS505 are registered and we have a populated library. New eBook Library is version 2.5. Does anyone know of any reasons why I can't install this over the existing version. I'm pretty conifdent that I won't lose my existing library, it will probably just install driver or DLL or whatever to recognize the PRS700. Anyone had any, or know of, any problems with installing eBook Library 2.5 over 2.2? Thanks in advance  I thought I had upgraded to latest version from Sony's eBook Store yet the versions differ. It also mentions that I can install the manual for the PRS700. Installation went smoothly...no problems. I registered the reader at eBook Store with no problems. I can transfer from my library to the reader with no problems. I guess I didn't need help after all. Last edited by Wetdogeared; 11-20-2008 at 07:23 PM. |
