Suvudu Free Book Library free Fantasy and SF

For all you Fantasy and SF-readers out there I found the Suvudu Free Book Library http://www.suvudu.com/freelibrary/ This is Random house (whith Bantam and Del Rey)so it looks very promising.

The site intro:

Well, we're here to make those tough decisions a bit easier on you. With the Suvudu Free Book Library, you can read the first book in some of our most acclaimed series absolutely free! The couple I fancied reading were pdf, not sure if they all are but that's a bit of a disappointment. Hopefully they'll add additional formats before too long at which point I might take another look. ePub would be nice

The files on the Suvudu site are all PDFs; I believe most (all?) of them are also available free for Kindle and in the Sony store.

So the choice is non-DRM'd PDF, or heavily-DRM'd version only usable on two devices. (And iPhones.)

Some of the newer Suvudu free books are also available at B&N in eReader format and I've found a few at Shortcovers in ePub.

In the Kindle format, at least, you've also already missed quite a few (in fact, most of them).

So, the current rumor at Amazon is that The Demon Awakes (there, not the PDF for download) also contains The Demon Spirit. Anyone out there with the physical copy of the 2nd book and access to the free Kindle book that can confirm?

The kindle version is a combo of The Demon Awakens and the Demon Spirit.
Both are complete version.
On another note, Stanza havent got the free rh from suvudu for 2 months.

Was it promoted somewhere recently? A lot of people seem to have discovered Suvudu only a few days ago.

Yeah, it's been around for several months now. The first set of books included Assassin's Apprentice and His Majesty's Dragon.

Thanks, I looked thru mine too and you (and the rumors) are correct - a free bonus book hidden inside the free book!
