Thanks, added to my library as well. Interesting as I can't seem to find it by searching on Audible... Was this a special restricted release?

Makes me feel a bit better about the $27.97 I paid them last night for The Time-Traveler's Wife! (That title by Audrey Niffenegger isn't available for e-readers.) Last edited by WT Sharpe; 12-12-2009 at 08:28 PM. |

That's great! Thanks for the tip! I was just looking for Ringworld in ebook format, and couldn't find it.
I think of Ringworld as one of those novels everyone has read, and rightly so. But when I recently asked a class of students in an SF writing class at MIT who had read Ringworld, they all looked blank. Not one of them had read it. I was amazed, and a little appalled. Apparently it's a generational thing. I'll have to let them know about this. (Though they're in the throes of exams right now. I wonder how long this will be available.) |

Little correction, it wasn't promoted in twitter, it is a special promotion offered by audible to Leo Laporte of TWiT (This Week In Tech), and it's been mentioned in several twits at http://www.twit.tv
Just clearing up, as I am a fan of the twit network and I've heard the promotion. Sorry I didn't bring it up myself but I forgot about it until alee brought it up. |

Got it! Thanks for passing on the info and link. This and A Confederacy of Dunces is going to make the long work commute a whole lot more tolerable!
