Barrie, J. M: Peter Pan. V1. 1 Dec 2008
Sir James Matthew Barrie, 1st Baronet OM (9 May 1860 – 19 June 1937), more commonly known as J. M. Barrie, was a Scottish novelist and dramatist. He is best remembered for creating Peter Pan, the boy who refused to grow up, whom he based on his friends, the Llewelyn Davies boys. He is also credited with popularising the name "Wendy", which was very uncommon before he gave it to the heroine of Peter Pan. He was made a baronet in 1913; his baronetcy was not inherited. He was made a member of the Order of Merit in 1922.
The story of the boy who would not grow up. The illustrations make it worth the download. Any chance of putting the illustrations where they actually belong in the story instead of at the end?

The illustrations come from two books other than the one formatted. Insertion into the book would be arbitrary, but I liked them very much.

I don't think we should try to "replicate" printed editions in ebook form, we can instead create new ebook editions, correcting typos, changing some typography and formatting, and, of course, adding or moving illustrations. That's at least what I do. |
