ebooks in high demand, authors taking note

This is just a little positive tidbit I just stumbled on:

On the website of Peter F. Hamilton, a rather famous SciFi author, I found this entry in the news section:

Quote:
Since many people ask about eBook versions of Peter's books: The Temporal Void will be issued as an eBook around the end of this month. It will be available from the MacMillan website and Amazon UK.
(quote from: http://www.peterfhamilton.co.uk)

That is good news indeed, although the fact that the ebooks arrives almost 4 weeks after the pbook is rather irritating, but the fact that many people are asking about it means that there is a growing customer base for ebooks and authors are starting to really take notice...

Good Times!!!

Yeah, I read 'The Dreaming Void' by Peter Hamilton as an eBook a couple of months ago and understood this was the first of a trilogy that would all be available as eBooks

pretty much all his books are available as ebook, the big change is that they're normally released with the US release which us normally 5 months later in the US than the UK. Also it should be DRM free from PanMacmillan, even in epub!
