Problem Installing Calibre on EeePC 901 (Ubuntu Jaunty)

This is part of the message I got when installing Calibre on my EeePC 901, running Eeebuntu 3.0 (Jaunty).

Calibre is not running at the moment.
I'm somewhat at a loss.

Excuse me for not reverting earlier: There were many varieties of PyQt4 in the repositories, which I installed without knowing what I was doing, and I ended up in the soup.

I ended up reinstalling Eeebunt 3.00, a netbook version of Jaunty (partitions of 4gb for /root, 8gb for /home, 4gb for /usr) with a good result.

I've since seen Calibre in the repository and am wondering whether to install from there, as when I pasted the instructions from the Calibre site of the previous occasion, it began to install, but was unable to complete the process.

I was getting messages about insufficient space, so am wondering whether I have enough space on this small machine for installing Calibre.

Regards
John

Thanks. I just checked and it doesn't appear to be installed in the /home directory on this machine (A Sony Vaio) which does not have Calibre in the Synaptic Package Manager. However it's in the Eeebuntu 3.0 Synaptic Package Manager (on the EeePC 901); which looks promising.
