http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003LPV5K0/ This is one of the most obvious anomalies, but they still have lots of titles that are more expensive than the paperback at Amazon. |

Excellent! It really can be worth asking - I had similar success with a Penguin book a while ago.

Publishers who want to set the retail price of ebooks really need to make sure that their pricing systems are up to scratch. |

The VAT is interfering with the Kindle book prices. They may not always be able to offer prices lower than paperbacks.

I saw quite a few books today on the website about a pound more than the pbk price.
Last week I was reading one of Penguins Titles and I am not joking it had so many formatting errors that I felt obliged to complain to Amazon. If Penguin want to charge the agency price than they should fix their books. |

The trade paperback published 30 sep 2010 has list price £12.99 and is discounted by Amazon to £6.47 on my page). The paperback edition to be published 10 November 2011 has list price £7.99. A very good book. Buy it! |
