Kobobooks.com website w/IE10

My partner and I recently bought a new computer with Windows 8, and we bought Microsoft Surface tablets for each other. We love them both, but we're having trouble accessing Kobobooks.com from IE10.

Is anyone else having trouble (or, for that matter, success) accessing IE10 under Windows 8? Using another browser is only an option for 2 of the 3 devices, so an IE10 solution is important, and we both are liking IE10 in other regards.

Thanks in advance for all responses!

I suppose it would help if I specified the problems, eh?

Whenever we try to log in, it keeps dumping us back to the main page with "SIGN IN" in the upper right-hand corner. It also isn't showing us descriptions of books when we try to view them, it's like the page is only half displayed, but the browser seems to think it's done.

It's still working fine on IE8 on an older laptop.

Sounds like an IE 10 problem.
Can you not install Firefox?

I have zero experience with IE10 so far so I'm just throwing this out there, but what about running it in compatibility mode for your Kobo browsing?

Thank you for your reply. As mentioned in the initial post, it's only possible to install alternative browsers in 2 of the 3 computers in question (one runs Windows RT, which is not an x86-based flavour of Windows), and on top of that we're satisfied with IE10 in other regards. My hope is that we need to change a security setting or clear a cache or other some such.

try turning off tracking protection. ITs indicated by a small circle with a diagnol line through it, on the address bar of the IE browswer.

Good luck
