Earthsea collection at humblebundle ($18)

So, as far as I can see, all Earthsea books, novellas and short stories are available in this humblebundle collection:
https://www.humblebundle.com/books/w...-le-guin-books

There is one omission, which is the last short story, that was published posthumous in 2018 is not part of this bundle. "Firelight" is only available in the "The Books of Earthsea: The Complete Illustrated Edition" omnibus or in the "The Best Science Fiction and Fantasy of the Year, Volume Thirteen" collection.

Since I can see the bundle without VPN, I don't think it is geoblocked.

The only downside that I can see is that the bundle is redeemed via Kobo.

Isn't this exactly like the other one from (what..two weeks ago?), with the same titles? Or is this exactly the same one already mentioned in the SF and Fantasy deals and freebies forum?

It is the same offer from Humble Bundle as the one mentioned previously.

It's such a good bundle, I don't mind a separate thread for it. I have ALL the Earthsea books, and it was still worth my while for the other books.

Still a good deal. If I hadn't painstakingly bought each individual book when they went on sale, I would grab the bundle.

I have never purchased a Humble Bundle before. I see that it is available via Kobo, and it also says "Read Anywhere", but doesn't mention DRM. I have an old Kobo account, but read on a Kindle. Do we know if these are DRM free? I realize that I can...you know...but would prefer not to.

(edit: Despite the "read anywhere", these seem to be Adobe DRM. No surprise there.)

As I recall, the downloads were pretty well all ASCM links. With the correct plug-in in Calibre, you should get a DRM-free epub which you can then send to Kindle. We moved away from Amazon (we both own Kobos), but we still download and import files into Calibre and manage transfers to our Kobos via Calibre instead of direct from Kobo using wifi (quite apart from anything, the metadata management works that way). So far, only around 10% of my ebooks were purchased from or fulfilled by Kobo.

Thanks very much for the explanation. I appreciate it.
