Thanks for posting this.

I had created a post (a long one, as I usually do) for this book a day or two ago, and then something happened--I'm sure that I caused it, although I don't know what it was--that poof! the whole post disappeared somewhere into cyberspace.

I tried getting it back by using "history," "restore tab," refreshing the page, going back a page or two--everything that I could think of, to no avail--it was gone. I didn't really have time to do it over and, besides, I absolutely hate having to re-do something, so I didn't.

The reviews were not the very highest. One reviewer panned the book because she said that the recipes weren't healthy, as the title says. Maybe not, but $1 per serving helped seal the deal for me. And there's 272 pages (if memory serves me correctly) in this monster, and the book's free. Even if I never used a single recipe, it would be worth what I paid for it.(ha)

Thanks! This is my fave cookbook of the ones that you posted. When I lived in Tampa I used to be able to eat Cuban food quite a bit, and I loved it. It's hard to find Cuban anywhere close to where I live now. Maybe I'll have to start cooking again.
