I bricked my Kobo Touch and need an internal SD image to fix it

Hi all

Title says it all really. Did a firmware update, and now the device (an original Kobo Touch) is stuck on the boot screen (smiley-face Kobo character with 5 animated squares).

I understand that I will need to get the back off the device and restore a good image to the internal SD card. I'm fine with doing that, but I don't have a .img file to write to the sd card. Can anyone point me to one? Thanks

Well, turns out it doesn't have an SD slot inside cos it's an N905

And it's fixed. You can just press reset and home at the same time to initiate a factory reset. I kinda seems that this information should be better known...

Um, it is pretty well known that you can do a factory reset for all Kobo devices when it won't start. And the instructions for each device has been posted in the forum many times. And Kobo have them in the support part of their website. Plus, some have been copied to the Wiki here. I don't think the instructions for the Touch have been, but anyone can fix that with a few minutes.
