Book Details Panel Customization

Hello Everyone,

Question: Is it possible to modify / customize the Book details section? (Other than specifying the order of shown metadata or what to show provided in the look & feel preferences).


It am interested in making it similar to the following shared image (CaliBlur theme for Calibre Web https://user-images.githubuserconten...0a3e6da8e0.png), primarely:
- Coloring certain metadata fields based on rules (similar to list view for example red for "Dropped" status and "Green" for "Completed". It does not seem to carry over from the defined rules for list view)
- Tag background highlights and other aesthetic modifications (I tried using the style sheet from the look and feel however I didn't manage to change it easily other then messing around using the ids of the custom metadata)
- Adding a banner if possible using the cover or a specified custom metadata field

If this is not available, is it possible to modify it using plugin functionalities of Calibre?

No, the customization abilities are limited to the stylesheet and even there the range of styles is limited to what the Qt text rendering engine supports.
