AFAIK calibre does not support the Kindle Fire for books that were downloaded to the device directly from the cloud.
That was true before KFX and it is still true.

...

Regardless, calibre cannot fix the metadata for KFX books.

Thanks eschwartz I am sure it used to work for the majority of books until around 6-8 months ago when it stopped working and the new format started appearing.

By fixiing the metadata I ment to update metadata option that match's the books as I already do this with the eink kindle.
