Just updated to 3.6, now Calibre won't open!
I just updated to Version 3.6 64 bit but it won't open and a error appears on screen.

Uninstall, delete C:\\Program Files\\Calibre2
(or wherever you chose to install calibre). Then re-install. And dont worry, uninstalling will not affect your books/plugins/settings. |

Thank you for replying.
I am no computer expert, so I want to make sure I don't do anything wrong. My 'Calibre2' folder is as you stated above: C:\\Program Files\\Calibre2 You want me to delete the whole folder called 'Calibre2', or do you also mean that I could uninstall the current version I have of Calibre, and then install Version 3.6? Uninstall the current version
delete the folder Calibre2 re-install. |
