Is it possible to add top/bottom margin in Kindle Paperwhite 4th gen?
The device supports vertical margins but has no support of horizontal ones. I was wondering if I jailbreak the device, will it be possible to add horizontal top/bottom margin (preferably in customizable size)? My device is a 4th generation Kindle Paperwhite 1

Do you mean top/bottom margins?
For this case, yes. Start looking here. Beware that those instructions were primarily designed for PW3 and older, with no tests/reports for PW4. You might experience some differences in those files you will edit. Just make sure to have your SSH automatically starting on boot + make backups, so you can easily restore the files, if you by accident did wrong changes and catch e.g. a boot loop You need these parameters: reader.content.topMargin reader.content.bottomMargin |

Since you're using a PW1, I'd go with RP+CRP to be extra safe.
