Webkit based browser for DR1000S

Hi!

I know, you might think there is not so much use for a full blown web browser on a divice without internet access, but there are many complex documents in html, which cannot be rendered as pdf because of interacitivity.

Are there plans to bring a webkit based browser to the DR1000S, which cluld load html files from a SD Card? I heard there is a project for the iLiad already and that the DR1000S is based on Poky, which includes a webkit engine by default. It would be great to hear, that someone is working on this.

Greets,
Andi

Hiya,
An Irex employee was saying in their forum: "... The software update that adds connectivity for DR1000SW will bring a simple web browser for the DR1000 and DR1000S for offline HTML browsing."
