Not a bad gig to get. The fellow that we used to joking call coffee boy is now my boss. There is something to be said for being the "office junior" who actually gets stuff done, no matter how small.

Black Millicano coffee in my cup, as I contemplate my workload. Do you ever get to the point where you have so many choices of what to do next that you get paralysed, and do nothing instead?

Coke #3 as I finish off the 'not-quite-late' paperwork, and more on to some more 'whoops, this is late' paperwork. (I needed to do the not-quite-late before I could sensibly do the whoops paperwork.)

Hmmm ... can Zeros be numbered?
First mug of tea. For some reason known only to the gods of aging spines, my back started to get stiff and sore on Sunday and is dramatically painful today. I got a few hours of sleep in bed, but I'll be napping-while-sitting today. And moving slowly to get my tea! |

I'm going to have a glass of rum. I really would prefer some Bombay Sapphire, but I finally finished the bottle. It's amazing how long a bottle can last me. With the little bits and drips that I drink, and spreading them over a bottle of gin, tequila, and rum, I probably don't buy more than 3-4 bottles of alcohol a year. I don't gamble. I don't smoke cigarettes. Heck! I need a good vice! Stitchawl |

Tea is a vice
Water right now. I am trying to be better about drinking water to try and help clear the gunk that never seems to fully clear from my throat. I'll have some tea with lunch. |

We bag our own tea, we buy water dispensers to make sure the water is at the right temperature. We buy nice mugs and tea pots. Most of us would be pretty unhappy if our tea went away. Heck, there are some folks who might even have physical reaction to the loss of the caffeine.
I would call that a vice. Working on my second cup of sencha. Nicely made in a purple cast iron tea part with water heated to 175 degrees and steeped for precisly 1 minute. |

Half the water and 7 mins seem to be doing it right.
I'd like to try something else next. Maybe just those convenient tea bags. Chai? Genmaicha? There are a LOT of types... I fancy something sweet and strong. O tea zealots, which ones go with sugar/honey? Especially near the end of a term, when there are at least 2 deadlines per day. My method: I take a nap. When I wake up I'll be so desperate that I'll actually do something productive |
