This software doesn't work for me. It indexed everything fine, but when I go to the link, nada.

I joined just to post this.

I like it. Clean, fast, and seems to be under fairly continuous development. I have 1600 ebooks and I am *dying* to find a Plex-like 95% automated web server based (self hosted) solution.

I have a Synology NAS that I store all the epubs and PDF's on. Haven't tried it yet, but I think I'm going to throw it on there and see if I can get it to run. Syno supports Nginix and Apache - I can run either or both. Any suggestions? Any other dependencies? Maybe in a Docker container?

Thanks - even if I have to run it on a Windows VM that's fine, just asking. It's pretty good stuff - best I've seen in a while and 1000 times faster than Calibre.

Thanks!

You should be able to run it. It is a standalone binary (not CGI), so you would need to run it by itself, then use Nginx or apache mod_proxy to forward to localhost:8090. Docker would also work.

Also, BookBrowser v4.1.0 will be even better! Have a look here for the plans so far. I'm going to be completely redoing the search, which will come with proper filtering and sorting along with complex queries. I'll also be refactoring the server code to make it easier to extend in the future. Depending on how much spare time I have, I may also do a new design (make better use of the screen space) and indexer caching (will make subsequent indexing almost instant) too.
