Device Error while trying to register - Code 45
Hi,
I keep getting an "an unexpected device error has occurred. Please try again. - Code 45" error while trying to register my edge. I do have internet connectivity. I have completed the upgrades. Any thoughts on the cause of this error? Thanks, |

I was getting the same error during registration BEFORE I did the software update procedure. After the update was applied registration finished without issue.

@ Ryanw - Could you try updating your device and then seeing if you are able to register?

I connected it to my pc and then tried the registration and it worked.

Weirdest thing I've ever seen....I've been having this problem since I got it back from Entourage-- because of the the last problem (came in today at noon Fed ex-its now two my time)...and I could not get this device to register. I turned it off, I turned it on. I did everything I could think of. Finally, I went back to the the main screen and found a second register icon. I clicked it. It went through the same process and instead of getting an error message...it just worked. Don't know why...but I'm starting to get a little concerned about the product. Not looking like I'm going to recommend it for review to my campus at the moment. But I'll give it time.
