Hello with questions!
Hello everyone, I have been lurking around for about 3 months reading everyone’s chatter about the different e-readers (pro/con). I joined a couple of days ago because I had a couple of questions. They have since been answered; however I am now more than EVER confused about which e-reader to get. My sweet, darling husband wants to get me the new ColorNook but I waiver daily. While I am not opposed to any other reader (except Kindle [library e Pub books a MUST] no Amazon problems otherwise), I still seem to be on a ledge. While the color nook is nifty and new, and I love the magazine thing, most people talk about the concern with LCD screen vs. e-ink eyestrain (not a big issue to me). On the other hand, I am a ‘love-to-sit-outside’ reader and have read some very concerning things about being able to read the LCD in the sun. Should I really be concerned about this? (Sorry this is so lengthy, but I wanted to be clear). I want to thank everyone in advance!

Welcome to MobileRead, zatsgirl.
Remember, its not a final deal until you are satisfied with it.....of course, you'll need to doublecheck the return policy of where ever its bought from, but most anyone will take returns..... Have you checked your local library's selection of e-books to make sure they carry what you like to read? The Philidelphia Free library does allow no residents to join. |

I understand about the whole you can return it if you don't like it (to a point) I was just curious about what type of e-readers other people had, and why they enjoyed them.

You might want to try the "which one should I buy?" section up in the device forums.

Thats when the 'take it back!' option comes in handy. |

In all my travels through the mobile reader forum, I have never seen that area…… going there right now! Thanks!
