I like how the ultimate goal is epaper that functions like, well, a thinly laminated sheet of paper.
The near-term stuff seems pretty feasible, though I have my doubts about an epaper Etch-a-Sketch. |

The etch a sketch thing is the Boogie Board, which I saw at Brookstone. It worked pretty well, and it's really light, but the uses of it are fairly limited. IIRC the Noteslate is the advanced version of this device (can save and do other things).
