How do I stop Calibre from changing my book titles?

When I save to disk, or transfer to the device, a book whose name is "The <something>" or "A <something>", Calibre creates a file called "<something>, The" or "<something>, A". Is there a setting which will prevent it from doing this?

Yes. It's in the Tweaks in Preferences.
