Maybe not. I know how sentences were written just a hundred years ago, much longer and more elaborate than today's, but I do not see today's writing as significantly worse... just different. In many ways, better.
Anyway, maybe we'll get bigger screens before we get shorter sentences. |

I hope you're right, but the Japanese experience suggests that writers are more likely to write what fits on the screen.
