In CSS3 there's text-align-last:

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/...ext-align-last

but its support in actual ereaders is probably nonexistent.

Also see: https://css-tricks.com/almanac/prope...xt-align-last/

If you are ok with the last line always being the same, you could do something really simple like:

<p>bla bla bla blajlkd jflkdj fkljds fökjdkf jölkdj fkljds lkföjkdsl jflkdsj fkjds kföjdsk fj</p>

<p style="text-align:center; margin-top:-1em;>Centered last line</p>

Hi Tex2002ans, you are right - this function is not supported.
patrik - simple trick yes, but does not solve my problem. But thanks anyway.

Waaallll, welcome to eBook-making, where the sort of niceties that exist in print--dealing with clean rags, etc., is just a dream. :-)

I don't know of any way to achieve that automatically, and yes, we've tried.

if that paragraph is somewhat isolated, such as in a footnote or comment, it would possibly look ok if you center the entire paragraph.

I personally don't care for entire paragraphs to be centered, and find them hard to read, but for something with only a few lines as in your sample, it might fly.
