Likebook Mars problems

Since upgrading my Likebook Mars to Android 8.1 Version:2021081008 the font keeps randomly changing size when turning the page, and also about every dozen page turns it will go backwards a page instead of forwards. Is there a way to fix these issues?

I know it's not just my Mars as my friends also has the same problems. The reader says Version:2021081008 is the latest update. I just tried emailing Boyue support but the email address I've used in the past no longer works and is coming back as undeliverable (likebook AT boyue.com). Can anyone help? Thanks

Well done for managing the upgrade. I did that with the Alita and found it pretty nail biting. My guess is that you have stuck with the native Boyue reading app. If so, try out some of the free reading apps you can download form Google Play store. At least one of them should please you. If you spot one that looks brilliant in reviews but is a pain to set up just move on to another. Boyue e-readers can take over your life if you let them.

I tried alternative reader software back when I first got the Mars but was disappointed with them all. I just went and tried a few again; Librera, Moon+ Reader and KOReader. KOReader was my favorite so I have decided to use that one.
