With the kindle fire at 199, even 299 is way overpriced (the hardware is very similar between these 2 devices). The kindle has set a new price point, and everybody else will have to play ball, or exit the market. Well, maybe not Apple, there's always people willing to pay more for their products as long as they have an apple logo, (even when it's just a block of wood). I know, I know, old news...

Good point, but Joe Average won't care about any of those features. The PlayBook is dead in the water.
