Orwell, George: Animal Farm - v1 - 29 May 07

What more can I add to what has already been said about this famous novel. One of the twin peaks of Orwell's writing, Animal Farm was a requirement in almost every school system in the US for a while -- back when communism was still considered bad. (The other peak is 1984 which was included as one of the free books with the Sony Reader.)

A while back there was a thread on MobileRead where people were to present their favorite lines from or about books, as I remember Alex (our founder) picked this line from Animal Farm:
Quote:
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
