PRS-650: PDF nur leere Seiten ???
Hallo,
habe gerade meinen PRS-650 bekommen, und gleich das erste PDF drauf geladen. Leider zeigt er mir ausser dem Cover nur leere Seiten an. Auch nachdem ich alle anderen EPubs gelöscht habe bekomme ich nur leere Seiten. Es ist kein DRM-PDF. Jemand eine Ahnung, oder das gleiche Problem ? EPubs werden ohne Probleme angezeigt. |

Also ich kann das Problem nicht bestätigen, bei mir funktioniert alles, und ich bin verdammt noch mal flashed by the PDF-bearbeit-Funktionen! richtig geil, aber richtig!
Sogar die Option Helligkeit anpassen konnte ich hier und da gebrauchen, echt schniecke. |

Es ist auch nicht jedes PDF.
Bisher habe ich kein eindeutiges Kriterium entdeckt. Dachte zuerst es wäre PDF 1.3, aber andere PDF 1.3 Dokumente werden angezeigt. Muss mal weitersuchen. |

Also ich hab wahllos ein paar PDFs aufgemacht, und die gingen alle, weiß aber nicht was die für Versionen sind...

Habe dasselbe Problem. Die meisten PDF-Dateien werden nicht geöffnet.

Alle 3 Reader (505, 650, 900) können die problematischen PDFs öffnen, und das Titelbild anzeigen. Aber anstatt des Textes werden die folgenden Seiten nur leer angezeigt. Auf dem PC dagegen wird alles angezeigt.
Muss mal testen was passiert wenn ich diese problematischen PDFs auf dem PC in ein neues PDF drucke (z.B. mittels Bullzip Printer). |

Also,
wenn das problematische PDF gedruckt wird (Bullzip PDF Printer) dann wird das Ergebnis-PDF ohne Probleme angezeigt. Allerdings dauert das Blättern ewig; ca 50 Sekunden pro Seite !! |

Habe mir verschiedene PDFs mit PDF-Analyzer und Enfocus Browser angeschaut.
Der einzige Unterschied zwischen den problematischen PDFs und anderen PDFs ist das mit Enfocus bei den problematischen PDFs unter Root nur Pages und Type angezeigt werden. Alle anderen PDFs haben mind. 3 Objekte in der 2. Spalte. Habe aber keine Ahnung was das jetzt heisst. Als Workaround habe ich die problematischen PDFs jetzt in ePubs umgewandelt. Dann klappt das mit der Anzeige. Da es sich um Romane handelt ist das noch tragbar. |

Kann es sein, dass diese problematischen PDFs keine Text-PDFs sind, sondern eingescannte Grafiken? Lässt sich im Acrobat Reader am PC Text mit dem Text-Tool markieren?

hab gerade beobachtet, das ein PDF-File welches nur als leere Seite im Reader angezeigt wurde, war nachdem ich das Gerät aus und wieder eingeschaltet habe "lesbar" war ... wie ist das denn nun zu erklären?

Gleiche Problem
Hallo,
ich habe das gleiche Problem mit einigen PDFs. Unabhängig vom Reader. Ich konvertiere diese Dateien zuerst in Doc mit dem PDF Converter Pro und dann zurück in PDFs, Epubs oder prc. Wobei das Konvertieren zurück in PDF noch Probleme bereitet. Einige Passagen werden durcheinander gebracht. Zumindest mit FreePDF. |
