recursive github markdown documentation conversion

Hi,

I would like to know whether this has already been done?
I am nearly pretty sure, but did not find the right hint.

In fact it's only a TOC.md with underlying directory structure with further md files and resources structured by chapters.

If I try it with calibre conversion it only processes the main TOC.md but no links in it.

No, recursive conversion is only supported for HTML. I suppose one could have the txt input plugin simply all the html input plugin to handle links, there just has not been any demand for that so far. If you open a bug report and attach a sample document, then I will look into it when I have some time.
