pdf reader app on kindle fire
can anyone recommend a good one? is there one that lets you look up the meanings of words and highlights?

You know, I was going to suggest EZ PDF Reader, but it really doesn't have a dictionary. You'd have to use Quickoffice Pro to have dictionary access. Here are links to both apps.
