Original REB charger question

Hi All,

I am trying to resurrect my reader, which is an original Rocket eBook Reader by nuvomedia.

I have to make my own charger from bits i have, but can anyone confirm the voltage and amps I should be using, please?

I know the REB 1100 uses 12V at 1000 mA, but would mine be the same as this?

Thanks for any info you can give.

You want the equivalent of the Radio Shack 273-358 (old number, 273-1775) 12VDC 1500ma adapter with Adaptaplug A 273-334. Make sure you plug the tip in so the the tip is positive. I mark it with a sharpie so I can see at a glance if it's right. The adapter will set you back $25 or so and the tip is free with purchase.

If you have enough bits and pieces laying around, or are overseas since this one is 120VAC input, you want a regulated 12 volts, at least 1000ma and a O.D. 2.35mm by I.D. 0.7mm center positive tip.

This combo works on Original Rockets, 1100's and 1150's.
