Notifications not working?
I haven't been receiving emails for threads I'm subscribed to for a couple of days now. I am receiving emails form other sites/forums.

Anyone else not receiving emails mobileread?

I'm using Thunderbird, and they aren't in my "Junk" folder. I never go to my ISP webpage, so I hope they aren't getting filtered out there.

I checked my ISP web page, and the spam filter is/was turned off.

So I'm not sure what is going on? I'm currently subscribed to 533 threads. When I go the the User CP page, there are unread threads listed, yet I don't get any notifications.

Maybe something happened to your set option for notification?

On your User CP page of Subscribed Threads what does it say under "Notifications"? This snip shows two options that are on my page.

You can check what your "Notification" is set for the subscribed threads by going to your "User CP" and scroll down to "Edit Options"

Then scroll down the center of the page until you see "Messaging & Notification". There will be a box for "Default Thread Subscription Mode"

The drop down box will let you choose:
Do not subscribe
No e-mail notification
Instant e-mail notification
Daily e-mail notification
Weekly e-mail notification

Actually, my notifications were correct. In the first image dreams posted, they all say "instant".

My first picture just shows what my notification is set to for those threads. They are left as unchecked boxes.

Humm, I don't know what the issue is. You said your spam filter is turned off and you are set for instant notification.

That's quite a number.

We constantly monitor our mail server's performances and currently there is no message of abuse of network resources of any kind.

However, according to our logs, your provider decided unilaterally to periodically bounce mails from our mail server after a certain threshold of incoming mails is reached. Perhaps the amount of mails is triggering some internal spam check score; unfortunately, they are using hard bounces, meaning, the mail is not going to be resent. I have filled out a request for removal of the bounce.

Update: According to our logs, your provider has put the whole /24 subnet on their bounce list. Maybe someone in this network did send spam in the past, but certainly it wasn't us. Will await a response from them.

Update 2: Received a response that the block will be removed shortly.
